i was just lost in my own thoughts yesterday, obviously not paying attention in class. i realised that all of humanity is chasing to be at the frontier of knowledge, technology, change and everything else in between. since we had the means to, we always seek to discover, understand, innovate and create.
but sometimes, just sometimes, wouldnt it be good, if we not bother to try and solve every mystery there is on earth? would we be less weary, less caught up with ourselves, more compassionate? this pursuit has brought untold benefits to mankind, but also unnecessary stress, worries, and perhaps even more problems. i was reading just yesterday, scientists worry about robots taking over human roles and how artificial intelligience must be kept under close watch. it is not surprising. just look at how rapid and swift changes in technology have taken place just in the past 15 years. pretty scary stuff.
on a lighter note, i am happy for getting one of the 'most improved students' award. i'm not boasting, if you knew where i was 4 months ago. this is a testimony of God's grace. i'mma say it plainly. it is sixty-fold blessing, which means better things are on its way.
thank God He is so faithful :)
