you will never know what to expect.

quite a few amusing things happened today.

#1 in the hall, mr lee talking
just funny, recalling how he speaks and how sam still gets a kick out of it >,<

#2 old lady, in her 50s at least, swinging her legs while seating on the bus stop bench, furiously. i think she deprived childhood.

#3 mainland meets red dot chinese

so i went home from popeye's with sam (a new outlet in toapayoh!), walked home, and guess what? a chinese man approached me:

CM: ni zhi dao di die kou zhai na li ma? (do you know where is the nearest mrt station?)
me: err, man yuan de. [not bad right?] yao da ba shi. (err, quite far, must take bus)
CM: uhh, neng gao zhou lu ma? (can we walk there?)
me:erm, zhou lu hen yuan leh. (er,walk very far leh)
CM: da gai duo yuan a? (roughly how long?)
me; err, i think shi fen jiang. (er, i think about 10 minutes.)
then his fellow comrades ask me:

CW(chinese woman):na, ni neng xie xia lai, rang wo hao ji zu a! (can you write for me, easy to rmb!)
me:errrr,[shit,i forgotten how to write chinese!] err, wo bu hui xie 'clarke quay' jiao shen mo. (errr, i dont know how to write clarke quay in chinese.)
CW: oh! mei guan xi! (o! its ok!)
me: *writing-[i forgot how to write 'da'] 232/ from toa payoh to clarke quay*
uuh, ni wen na ge zhai na bian zhuo gong de ren, ta men hui zhi dao la. (you ask the bus drivers at the interchange, they would know)
CM & CW: uuh, wo men shi cong zong guo da lu lai de! (O! we are from mainland china!)
me: [in my mind, aberden] uuh! *smile
CW: na xie xie ni la, uh! (O! thank you very much!)

HILARIOUS! i wanted to say: dui bu qi, wo de hua yu hen lan. but i guess they no need me to spell that out. omg, very amusing. ironic, they only approach me, got so many aunty uncles seating there, but must ask me, C5 standard. hahahha.

yeah, random stupid, like just for laughs gags, but they made me smile. :)
