i think i've been into a new hobby thing lately.
COOKING!
hahah, still very amateur. been trying out a number of recipes, cooking with sam, for these past weeks while i'm having a break from those rascals. and i must say, i'm loving it! :D very fun! i mean the cooking, not the break really. you know those cooking shows (i LOVE nigella express!)
you watch on travel & living, where the chef effortlessly whips up and creates a delicious meal.
mix ingredients, put in the oven,jazz, funky music plays then next second, its DONE! voila! and their lovely family & friends devour their creations to the last crumb. yum.my. you see the smiles on their faces and you give yourself an invisible pat on the back. :D
one problem, i need an oven. almost every good recipe needs an oven. i've been trying to convince my mum to buy one. its for her too! she loved to bake. trying to make her love it again, so that she has something constructive to do, instead of sleep all day. she would be occupied, and we would get to enjoy awesome cakes! a win-win situation. yum ;P
which reminds me, go watch Julie & Juliet if you can. its about 2 ladies separated by a generation of years but connected by the love of and for cooking. cute,'inspiring' show, if you like to cook.
