you spin my head right round right round.

i had been feeling giddy for the past few days, since saturday. but its not the blur kind of giddy, its the room spinning around type. so i thought shit, what am i sick with? cos i feel ok, i eat ok, i sleep ok, so i didnt know what the problem was. i thought it might be heatstroke..ahah. anyway, so i went to see a doctor yesterday. i just said, ooh, when i put my head down or lie down the room starts spinning. withouy missing a beat, he said, orh that one. you have VERTIGO. hahah! how cool is that? i always thought you get it when you look down from tall places and feeling dizzy. but guess what, it is "a specific type of dizziness, a major symptom of a balance disorder. It is the sensation of spinning or swaying while the body is actually stationary with respect to the surroundings."

so now you know, vertigo is not what you feel when you look down from high places, neither is it a U2 song (i thought of that when doctor said it), it is a legitimate, scientific discomfort your body feels. you learn something new everyday.
